My husband and I were in the market for a new home due to the birth of our son and our desire to have my mother close to provide daycare. I had owned my home for 11 years and did not know any realtors. Laurie was referred to us by a family friend who's children had both successfully purchased homes with Laurie's assistance.

My mother, my husband and I met with Laurie on a Thursday to discuss our housing needs - which was to find a house with a mother-in-law unit or two separate residences within our price range. Laurie managed our expectations by letting us know that our special needs could take up to six months to find the right fit, but that she would begin a search right away.

By the weekend, she had emailed us with a number of properties to consider. We chose three homes to see in person. Laurie showed us the homes on Tuesday and we had made an offer on the perfect property for our needs by Thursday. We couldn't believe we found our new home within one week of beginning our search.
